i'm not sure if the hugging can be CIP. cos.. we're not raising funds. we're spreading happy!
but, its actually not a bad idea. its not as Jun sean puts it "*ahem*". it's barely intimate. if you didnt see the vid you should!
i'm still unsure if its legal. still trying to check.

also... PERPETUAL PARTY WAS MY IDEA. U STEAL U BAD! ok mine was "everyday is a party" BUT THATS NOT THE POINT. hmmph!

also, i rather we NOT make a jersey. its so.. lame. i say we design a shirt. like. drawings and names all over. and maybe each person will have a slightly personalized version. like my sis, she has a shirt and it has lots of random drawings and names on it. its very cool.

so thats my idea. not to mention, all other classes are doing jerseys. so cliche! we should be more unique! so thats my idea. i said "so that's my idea" so many times.

and a reply to that_one: you'll be surprised. just hafta wait. we shud split in pairs and cover a large area. a well populated area. i found a vid of 2 s'poreans doing it. they got quite a number. and as more people come up to you, others will follow.

yay at least now im not pitching the idea to just BLow and Zhongren who just wanna hug hot guys and girls respectively.

I think what we need are i/cs to actually be in charge of what we need.
So someone collate a list of the stuff that we need and someone allocate the fitting people to be i/cs. That way, we can actually do stuff instead of just speculating. And also, we should get a class jersey :)

I think these are the things on our hands now: planning for classroom decor, CIP, and some bonding activity. If not we can always lump two or all three together as one central activity (like maybe the hugging charity thing we can do for CIP, combining the bonding and CIP together; or selling decor materials for charity, while giving us some chance to bond(?) and clock some CIP hours)

First of all, the classroom decor competition - do we want to have a theme to work around with? I know some of us are befuddled with balloons as our main staple for the design, but it'll be meaningless without some unity...it can't be only balloons right? I have in mind the theme Perpetual Party - the ideal of our class being to have fun. Two other decor stuff we could do: All the AEP guys and visual art-inclined people can do a profile mural and stick it on the walls / banner cloths to shield the windows and drape from the ceiling to give a "party" feel.

As for the random-hugging bonding activity, I'm not too sure how many of us actually want to go around doing intimate things with strangers. If we can scale it down, I'm actually fine with just going for a movie and a meal together, or go for badminton / soccer / tennis or blah...if we want to make it bombastic though, other forms of CIP could very well do - but again, the crux of the situation lies in whether everyone is free on one day, and is willing to sacrifice full-day gaming for class bonding. Hugging random people, in my opinion, is slightly *ahem*...

i suggest that we do a CLASS BONDING activity.

we shall join the FREE HUGS CAMPAIGN.

what is the free hugs campaign?

check this youtube video for a rough idea.

so basically, we hold signs saying "FREE HUGS" in a crowded area and wait for someone to approach us. we spread out in a large area.

we need to find a pretty crowded place. and hope to bypass security if they dont want us being friendly.

and we need a video camera.

so anyway, thats the idea.

you guys better be. besides, it'll be fun! and spreading the happiness is good! we need to make our class the most FRICKING awesomest class ever. we must do something for the community and be famous in RI. yay!

although doing in junction 8 is a lousy idea cos its so small and stupid. i was thinking vivo.

Definitely my first post here, and I really have nothing to mention about. Wish all teams good luck for their up coming presentation for Literature about Greek drama, theatre, and techniques! And all those who have yet to share with us their anecdotes! I suppose we would all enjoy hearing stories from the past and how you're faced it!

Tomorrow there would be the play "Everything but the Brain". It is the Lit Class's first outing! I read from the Strait Times that it was quite ok, but the only thing was that the relationship between daughter and father wasn't clearly pronounced much throughout the show.

Leon had a bad cold today, we all wish him to get well quickly.
Yesterday was Clinton's birthday, we sang him a birthday song.
The Taiwanese guy came and went, his face looked damn sickly.
Some days are so boring, they get very long.

Also, please give me your E-mail addresses so that I can invite you all to become contributors. The initial idea was to have one account for everyone to use, but it isn't a good idea, because people may forget to leave their name and impersonators will start popping up. Not a good idea. Also, 2 people can't log in to the same account at the same time.

Besides, since we already have to have our own blogs, we're all gonna have to make accounts of our own anyway. In the case that you're a technophobe and have no idea how to set up an account, ask people who do know.
